Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

My "own people" say that because constituents are being cheated by fraud, and they are right, just as I am right.

A study of something that can not be detected? Miraculous. Apparently all they "studied" were their navels.

Courts legislate from the bench all the time. That's another area where your side has a heavy advantage...the courts. Yet your side still has to cheat.

Are you still jazzed about all the O'commiecare lies? I had a lefty actually attempt to answer my challenge the other day, which was: Name one true thing Obama said about O'commiecare while shoving it down our throats. That person said: "Kids" can stay on their parent's policy until they're 26.

The response to that of course was, no they can't, millions of parents are losing their policies, so there isn't a policy for them to stay on. Just being dropped, specifically because of O'commiecare. Which highlights yet another one of Obama's lies.

It's not me speaking, it's your own people:

"In December, Republican strategist Scott Tranter acknowledged that “a lot of us are campaign professionals and we want to do everything we can to help our sides. Sometimes we think that’s voter ID, sometimes we think that’s longer lines, whatever it may be.” The Romney campaign’s Wisconsin co-chair, state Sen. Alberta Darling (R), also suggested that the Massachusetts governor would have won Wisconsin but for the fact that the state’s voter ID law was declared unconstitutional by a state court."

Although the laws’ supporters claim that they are necessary to combat in-person voter fraud, a voter is more likely to be struck by lightning than to commit fraud. One study found that 0.0002 percent of votes are the product of such fraud'

You can stay on the bottom of my boot Normanincompoop.

"If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep your healthcare plan. Period." (Barack O'liar)

Millions of people are getting cancellation notices, currently. Millions of them. Period.

Question: How many Republicans voted for that big lie?

Answer: Zero.

Must've hit a nerve :-)

Of all the nerve, to hit a nerve.

Jaxohogwash...that was some of the dumbest, most inane, wasted space, bull-s-h-i-t, I've ever read.

However, anyone in our community who wants to cultivate mushrooms, can use the crap out of it....

...you know, for fertilizer. There's one more thing it would be useful for though. Testing the efficiency of one's septic system.

Stop assuming you are speaking with people as stupid as you are, OK? And stop quoting others who assume the same.

RS, shot down more times than Snoopy vs. The Red Baron.

" My argument is this: How do you solve a murder when there is no means of collecting evidence?"

The problem with your argument is there was no murder to solve.

Or to put it another way, let's say you live in a reasonably safe neighborhood. The Republican idea is to put a wall around your house, an expensive security system, and hire five armed guards, just in case someday someone might break in.

"According to the Brennan Center for Justice, just “66 percent of voting-age women with ready access to any proof of citizenship have a document with [their] current legal name.”

"Neither side should approve of cheating. Your side however, thrives on it. My side opposes it."

Your side would have been stomped even further in 2012 if it wasn't for what you thrive on, voter suppression.

"Voter ID’s proponents typically claim that such laws are necessary to prevent voter fraud at the polls, but such fraud is only slightly more common than dragons and wizards. One study of about 3 million Wisconsin ballots discovered that just seven were invalid — all of which were caused by felons who were unaware that they were bared from voting. Yet, while voter ID targets a non-problem, even conservative estimates suggest that between 2 to 3 percent of registered voters are disenfranchised by these laws.

Moreover, in addition to targeting minorities, students and low-income voters — all of which are groups that tend to be to the left of the electorate as a whole — Texas’ voter ID law will also make it harder for many women to vote. "

Isn't it ironic that the same party who claims it is a hardship for a "poor minority" person to get free ID to vote, sees absolutely no hardship whatever in these same "poor minority" people having the means to either purchase or use a free library computer to go to a non-functioning website and apply for O'commicare.

Even if the website was flawless, the juxtaposition of the two situations, with one being a hardship and the other a piece of cake, is ludicrous, not just on it's face, but it's****as well.

Can anyone explain this, or are we non-commies just supposed to be every bit as stupid in being asked to believe this crap as you are in asserting it?

Your brains have atrophied. Ours have not. Be honest and admit what liars you are.

Neither side should approve of cheating. Your side however, thrives on it. My side opposes it. Notice that subtle difference if you can. Have someone who speaks fool fluently, explain it to you in your own dialect.

"Voter ID laws are aimed at minorities. Period." (Normeinkamf)

How so? Explain it. Either they can get free ID's or they can't. Which is it? Stomping your foot doesn't illustrate your "point". It destroys it. Holding your breath would be much more effective.

No Jaxogeobbels, my argument is not how do you solve a murder when there is no murder. My argument is this: How do you solve a murder when there is no means of collecting evidence? No ID, no address, no voter registration, no method by which to prove anything. See the difference? The only thing circular about it, is that I'm saying it to a pancake and a flapjack.

"NO party should be fearful of any voter. That is Democracy." (Norminiskirtmannequin)

First, it isn't a fear thing. It's a fair thing. A justice thing. A voter who votes several times in an election, cancels out honest votes. It's called cheating. Notice how cheating is spelled, and have someone define it for you.

Posted 176 days ago.

Or to put RS's statement another way "How do you investigate a murder that hasn't been committed?"

Posted 176 days ago.

Once again, I don't know who said it here, but if RS killed his parents he would complain about being an orphan. He is the King of Circular logic.

"Question, when a state cannot check the legitimacy of votes, or even the singularity of an individual's vote, how can voter fraud be detected? Answer, it can't. SO you non-existent fraud assertion is 100% BS. "

An investigation using a statistical sampling of the voters would do the trick. Real World. Real Solutions.

Voter ID laws are aimed at minorities. Period. There is quite simply (a simple mind like yours should 'get' simple) no discernible voter fraud happening in America. So miniscule ( you should understand the word, it describes rshrill's intellect) as to be infinitesimal, that to spend all the money and rhetoric for NOTHING, including all the money thrown at the issue by fearful conservatives is insanity personified. Change your tactics, NO party should be fearful of any voter. That is Democracy.

Dominionist. Yes, rshrill is a Dominionist, from what we hear here.
