Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

"Yep, when spilled milk is classified as toxic waste then you may have a problem at the regulatory level" I used to load trucks at McDonald Dairy, I can tell you spilled milk gets toxic in a hurry. I don't know if you guys were in Alpena then, the original dairy was on Parson Street in the middle of a neighborhood off State Street, then moved to US 23 South by Squaw Bay. I think it's closed, it switched hand several times. Yoikes, now I have that sour milk smell in my head, it never went away no matter how much we scrubbed.

It would be more accurate to say that the banning of DDT killed tens of millions worldwide.

Wow, you boys have fun.

The banning of DDT killed millions and millions worldwide, doofus murder advocate.

Who is advocating abolishing the FDA or, more precisely, food inspections?

I don't think I've ever heard anyone advocate for that, ever.

Taking a second look at regulations? Yep, when spilled milk is classified as toxic waste then you may have a problem at the regulatory level.

Oh yeah, all that was wildly rampant before goobermint took over.

I wonder which democrats The Communist Party USA will be endorsing next year.

(?)

Oh right...all of them. Nevermind.

Here we have this nice big river flowing right out into Lake Huron, and they try to tell us what we can't dump in it. And what's wrong with burning tires? And a flood plane is technically just a swamp, we should be able to fill them in, it's our land. Why can't I spray DDT on my crops? They are my crops. And just because the crop is marijuana is no reason for government interference.

I like it. Hot dogs made out of real dogs, but they pass RS's smell test. Bugs are protein, eliminate the ban on those in peanut butter. Chunky Rat Soup, smells good too. Restaurant inspections? Fugeddahbout it. Water Parks? Hey, MOST people survive e-coli, there must be an acceptable trade-off vs. all those regulations.

Reid corrupted the Senate. It was a profoundly stupid thing to do. He knows it.

Survived Bush?

Bush did not cause the housing bubble.

You'd better hope your party can survive " If you like your plan..." and the nuke option.

Read a book. 100 million people were killed by oppressive governments in the 20th century. Governments starving and killing their own people.

Freedom does not kill people, on the contrary, it causes them to thrive and be men and women rather than ants.

No. They can buy their own pole, commie.

Posted 334 days ago.

"I inspect my own meat Jaxie."

Of course. We'll give everyone in NYC a fishing pole and abolish the USDA.

Posted 334 days ago.

Yep. And the GOP can make the rules if they get in charge, that's only fair. Once in awhile America gets amnesia, puts the GOP in charge of something like the White House, sees the damage, corrects it. We survived Bush, we can survive a GOP Senate.

all others in face to face contact with every new customer I procured, while being paid straight commission with zero guarantees. Anything more real world than that?

Now I have figured out how to sell products in bunches like bananas, and never need to see any of them. They order these products from the internet or by telephone and I ship them to their door. Many times I need to educate them over the phone so that they understand the benefits of what they want, in order to meet the need which they have.

P.S. Boehner must either opt out or sign up and enjoy the big subsidy that you will not get. I think he's a soggy toast, invertebrate. How's that for independent thought? 'Twould be verboten for you, right? Try it, just once. You might well prefer*****to freeze over before you arrive.

I inspect my own meat Jaxie. I use my eyes, my fingers, and my nose. I also harvest my own meat from the wild, mostly fish. Then I cook it. I neither need, nor can I even follow a new government regulation spewing forth from a bloated, can't leave me alone, government, every 2.5 hours.

How many tens of thousands of pages of government regulations is enough? Do we really need a regulation telling someone precisely how high off the ground their sink must be?

When will government control ever be satiated? That is my question. How much scrutinity or control is finally too much? Government working hand in hand with business? Uh, no. Existing taxes and regulations are already over the top ridiculous.

This government is like a parasite, and you might be able to see that were you a business owner, rather than an ant digging holes for said owner. My "real world" experience includes outselling (outproducing)

It's progress, thirty days ago he wouldn't have been able to sign up. As I said, give it time, the bugs will be worked out, that's how it is with major software implementations in The Real World. And he's being pretty quiet about the cost: Why doesn't he be honest if he saved money?

Posted 334 days ago.

Freeman

So, he signed up but can not actually pay for it.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

Not really that funny when you think about it, is it?
