Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

"Newton, interestingly, is universally regarded as one of the most important scientists in history, and his 1687 book, “Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy,” is considered perhaps the most influential science book of all time, laying out the basis for classical mechanics."

"But Newton also wrote another book many people have never heard about: “Observations Upon the Prophecies of Daniel and the Apocalypse of St. John.” In fact, a devout Christian, Newton spent a significant amount of his time researching and studying the Bible." (Common knowledge)

“For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountain of ignorance; he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries.” (world-renowned astrophysicist Robert Jastrow, founding director of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space S

The simple reason the gods lost to evolution in 1925 remains the same no matter how many times humans change the names of the god Thingies. Rep Paul Broun claims earth is 9,000 years old as we observe nebula billions of years old. We rational people can enjoy fantasies too but are at least wise enough not to expect others to have the same fantasies.

Trees and plants require CO2. Those trees and plants, in turn provide us with oxygen and food. Two things which we, and most animals on Earth require.

Intelligent design IS science. The Theory of Evolution is the religion. It is mere belief without corroborating evidence.

Intelligent design simply follows the observable evidence. You know, the Cambrian explosion, the lack of transitional species etc.

Calling intelligent design scientists crazy is neither a fact, nor does it even attempt to prove a theory, that remains a theory, after 160 or so years.

Nye will have zero pertinent facts to present, other than his assertion that a higher being is impossible. Is it?

Again: "It is absurd for the Evolutionist to complain that it is unthinkable for an admittedly unthinkable God to make everything out of nothing, and then pretend that it is more thinkable that nothing should turn itself into everything." (G.K. Chesterton)

The 'politicizing' of man caused global warming is represented in the multi billion dollar Koch Bros. misinformation campaign, to protect their fossil fuel investment, and their continuing effort to maximize their interests by spewing pollution detrimental to all living things.

Guess what, shrill, I viewed the video of Ham, and viewed Bill Nye's. I see Ham as a creationist nut. Only because I am in favor of science over creationism. Science wins. End of your weird synopsis of MY understanding. As to the polar vortex, from what I read it is a naturally occurring weather phenomenon. YOU can adhere to the Trump version of weather, I will not. Winter is winter, and guess what again, the southern half of the globe is undergoing record heat and drought, so spare us your dislike of science. Rome was not built in a day, and the entire universe was not built in seven days, science tells me that.

There have have been two cooling periods and two warming periods since 1866 with the cumalative effect in temperature increases as negligible. In other words, duppin'.

In 1974 they blamed the "vortex" on global cooling. Today they blame it on global warming. Maybe in another 39 years, hopefully, less, they'll realize simply, that weather comes and goes. It is variable. It will continue to be variable.

"Throughout history, governments have twisted science to suit a political agenda. Global warming is no different, according to Dr. Richard Lindzen of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology."

Of course we all know science has made no advances since 1974. Computers with tubes could call it just as well as the computers today.

It was so cold Mitt Romney put the dog INSIDE the car.

Right. They called it Global Cooling back in 1974. Fact.

It was heartwarming to watch Al Roker make a blatent liar out of Rush Lamebrain. Lamebrain claimed the polar vortex was just made up by liberals but Al showed it in his college text from last century. Rush should stick to his usual half truths for his dittoheads to swallow.

Poor Christie, I suppose Jeb Bush is the republican front man now.

Not sure why you would say that, other than blind adherence to atheism. Maybe you should watch it and see which has the better arguments. I will wager that Nye has pretty much what I mentioned below. Duppin'.

I only say that though after 20-some years of "debating" atheists/evolutionists myself.

By the way, how high is your deductible now?

"Obamacare confusion reigns as frustrated patients walk out of hospitals without treatment" (headline linked from Drudge)

Groups denied equality in applying as non-profits being represented by ACLJ in ongoing lawsuit. AG is AWOL on scandals, ABCDEF and Geee.

Barry was in Hawaii looking for his birth certificate. Scandal!

Weird, 1st post disappeared and reappeared. It was worth repeating anyway.

Plenty of positive news on Obamacare. Millions of your fellow Americans have signed up and millions more will. The interest has been overwhelming. Americans who could only fix things when they were broken are now flocking to doctors for preventative care. It's starting to kick in and the best is yet to come.

Anything new on those major, major scandals? IRS? We saw the news on Benghazi last week, no there there as we suspected. Anything else?
