Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

As far as my business acumen, with you and RS mocking it, when RS was on hold due to regulations I said it was probably toxic. Sure enough, turns out he ships auto refrigerants. I know you guys backwards and forwards. Laws and rules don't apply to you.

As far as Bush being at full economy, his second tax cut was claimed to be a stimulus. Why would we need a stimulus if we were at full economy? I'll leave that for your homework instead of providing economic numbers for you to ignore.

Being specific with you doesn't matter, as I've said many times for 2014, you'll be back with the same whines later.

Do you ever get tired of being a bald faced liar? The bill was voted on and had a majority in the Senate, but not 60 votes. Here is what awaited in the House, which you left off: "Cantor confirmed to a reporter on October 3 that the bill as a complete package was effectively "dead" and that only parts of the American Jobs Act would be passed."

Of course you would block infrastructure projects. Said it before, will keep saying it until it sinks in. "Republicans see the road, drive on the road, wonder where the road came from."

As far as you grading anyone, you have proposed nothing that would create one job. All you do is throw rocks and whine about Benghazi and the IRS. Everyone is dumber for having read your posts.

The American Jobs Act was a $500 billion spending package that had nothing in it, (with the exception of some infrastructure projects), that promoted real organic growth in the economy.

I'd block it to. Thanks to both parties for putting the hammer down on that "dog".

Many Democrats have balked at the bill, siding with the Republicans, especially those facing difficult re-elections in congressional districts where they are hesitant to support unpopular legislation.

You ever get tired of being wrong jaxspp?

In the Senate, the bill was stalled by Majority leader Harry Reid on September 27, 2011 who said "I don’t think there’s anything more important for a jobs measure than China trade, and that’s what we’re going to work on next week," with emphasis on taking up more tenuous legislation which is less likely to draw political attention.

I don't think Harry is a republican.

McConnell wanted to bring it up as an amendment to the China trade bill, but, Harry said no.

The administration implemented most, if not all, of that "act".

I said be specific, you failed. F- for the day.

Google "American Jobs Act", read.

Jobs plan(s) blocked by the House?

Specificity is the word of the day.

I think your realtor is a little off in his/her evaluation, 3 for 1?

I got a good deal on it. I'm looking in Florida as well. I don't think I mentioned my building in Bay City, I do remember mentioning my T.C. property.

Doesn't matter though, I'm sure you're happy for me.

1. The economy, before the bubble bursting, was performing NEAR capacity. Near does not mean "at".

2. Drill and cut regulations? You're not paying attention.

3. Which "job plans" did the republicans obstruct? Be specific please.

Posted 279 days ago.

PS, I checked on buildings in Bay City, the realtor said they were having 3 for 1 sales, so congratulations on having a building in Bay City. Where did you get YOUR business degree?

Plus, all Obama jobs plans aside from the stimulus, which we have discussed before, have been blocked in the House. As I've said before, and will say again, GOP wants Obama to do something, laments government interference, then blocks his efforts. The GOP wants to be in government, has no idea how to govern.

"First, the economy under Carter was performing UNDER capacity, hence, job creation was far easier.

G.W. Bush presided over an economy that was near capacity, joblessness was low, hence, new job creation would NATURALLY slow.

Where, exactly did you get your "MBA"? "

Don't need an MBA to do math.

Your comment makes no sense whatsoever.

If you think the Bush economy was performing at capacity, once again I would be wasting time with you. And if you are going to ignore the government job cuts that have occurred under Obama, you really are an ostrich. This is the funny thing, no GOP jobs plans other than drill for oil and cut regulations, yet they are experts in job creation. HAHAHAHAHAHA!
