DETROIT (AP) — Grammy-winning reggae performer Stephen Marley is set to play at a park in downtown Detroit.
The son of the late Bob Marley is to perform Friday at Campus Martius Park as part of Compuware 4th Fridays. The music series includes a lunchtime musical act, an opening act and a headliner on the fourth Friday of June, July and August.
Marley began his career as a child singing, dancing and playing percussion with his siblings in the group The Melody Makers.
The 42-year-old Marley's most recent Grammy was in 2012 for his album "Revelation Pt. 1: The Root Of Life."
