Kenneth Henry Domrase, 72, of 10647 Piper Road, Ossineke, passed away at Tendercare Alpena on Monday, July 21, 2014.
Kenneth was born in Alpena on Sept. 25, 1941, to the late Ferdinand and Clara (Feldt) Domrase. He served in the U.S. Army from 1959-1961, and later married Ann Gries Geddert. Ann preceded him in death Jan. 12, 2007. Mr. Domrase had been the owner and operator of an excavating company. He also worked at Abitibi, Tessmer Builders, and Domrase Forest Products. Ken enjoyed hunting and was an avid Tiger fan.
Surviving are a son, Brian (Theresa) Domrase; two stepsons, John (Cathy) Geddert, Sam Geddert; several grandchildren, great grandchildren; four brothers, Dale (Joyce) Domrase, Harry (Sue) Domrase, Gene (Cindy) Domrase, Alden (Janet) Domrase; and a sister-in-law, Patricia Domrase.
Mr. Domrase was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Domrase; two stepdaughters, Robin Geddert and Ashley (Jerry) Anderson.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by the Bannan Funeral Home; a graveside service will take place at Hubbard Lake Cemetery on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Jack Williams officiating.
