Alpena Community College will present the final concert of the ACC Chamber Ensemble on Dec. 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Granum Theatre at the conclusion of the fall semester.
Instrumentalists of the group include Susan Asher, Rose Burke and Lois Marshall (flute), Marty Cantleberry (oboe and flute), Kristen Burrone (clarinet), Virginia Hulsey (horn), Charlene Matthews (tuba), Karen Thompson (violin and vocal), Jon Butler (cello) and Andrea Arbuckle (piano).
The group is conducted by MaryAnn Hubbard, ACC adjunct instructor of flute and the Chamber Ensemble.

Members of the Alpena Community College Chamber Ensemble practiced Wednesday night at Granum Theatre in preparation for their Dec. 10 concert.
The concert will feature the entire ensemble, as well as smaller ensembles and soloists and will offer traditional chamber music as well as selections that celebrate the season. On the programfor are "Rondo Serioso" (Taylor), "Victorian Dances" (Amos), "Suite for Quintet" (Washburn), "Prelude to L'Arlesienne Suite No. 1" (Bizet), "Une Flute Invisible" (Saint-Saens). Seasonal numbers include "An Antiphonal Christmas" (Heywood), "A Christmas Suite" (Walters), "Trois Chants de Noel" (Martin), "American Christmas Folk Suite" (Holcombe), "In Dulci Jubilo" (O'Briant), "Christmas Music for Quintet" (Coffill).
As the Chamber Ensemble will not be offered next semester, this semester's participants have prepared a special concert of music and are looking forward to performing it for their audience during this final concert. There is no admission charge for this performance.
