Key Club to trick-or-treat for UNICEF

October 21, 2013
Nicole Grulke - News Staff Writer , The Alpena News

ALPENA - Alpena High School Key Club members will be joining in Alpena's trick-or-treating hours on Halloween, but these students aren't collecting candy, they're raising money for the United Nations Childrens Fund. The students will be raising money to help with the Eliminate Project, which is a collaboration between Kiwanis International and UNICEF to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus, a disease that kills around 60,000 newborn children every year, according to the Key Club website.
