BAY CITY-The Rogers City softball team (25-6) travelled to Bay City for the John Glen invitational tournament and lost one game to Croswell Lexington 11-0 and then won the second, consolation game 6-0 against Saginaw.
Nikki Radke pitched in the first game for three innings. She gave up five runs, seven hits and one strikeout. Brooklyn Idalski pitched the two remaining innings, giving up six runs, seven hits and striking out two.
Idalski picked up one of Rogers City's two hits with a double while Logan Fleming picked up a single.
Alexa Quaine pitched five innings for the win in the second game. She gave up three hits and struck out four. Radke pitched the remaining two innings and gave up three hits and struck out three.
Rebecca Meredith hit a home run to lead offensively. Fleming picked up three hits and a double while Courtney Streich snagged a triple.
Rachel Chojnacki picked up two hits while Radke and Nikkie Lalonde picked up a hit a piece.
Rogers City hosts Alanson in a pre-district game on Tuesday at 4:00.
