Emily Ann Bruski and Mark Andrew Rysberg exchanged their wedding vows Sept. 29, 2012 at Reeds Lake in East Grand Rapids. The ceremony was officiated by the Honorable James Fisher.
The bride is the daughter of Dan and Sally Bruski of Alpena. The groom is the son of Brian and Linda Rysberg of Traverse City.
Attending the bride as maids of honor were her cousin, Lindsay Fitzpatrick, and her friend, Meghann Mikluscak. Bridesmaids were Stephany Ferder, Diana Miers, Aimee Chrzan, Erica Senchuk, Chelsey Bruski, Bonnie Prevette and Cari Campbell.
Attending the groom as best man was John Anderson. Groomsmen were Chris Knight, Drew Schweitzer, Adam Bruski, Abraham Bruski and Chris VanFossen. Serving as the ring bearer was Andrew Rysberg and as the flower girl was Emry Rysberg, both children of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Eve Lounge in downtown Grand Rapids.
Emily is a 2000 graduate of Alpena High School, a 2004 graduate of the University of Michigan, a 2007 graduate of Walden University, and a 2010 graduate of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She is currently employed as a litigation attorney with Law Weathers in Grand Rapids.
Mark is a 1994 graduate of Okemos High School, a 1998 graduate of Michigan State University, and a 2010 graduate of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He is employed as a construction litigation attorney with Hilger Hammond in Grand Rapids. Mark and Emily reside in Ada.
