Firefighters from the Alpena Fire Department prepare to enter the house at 410 Tawas Street Thursday evening. The call for the fire in the 400 block of Tawas came in at about 8:10 p.m. Firefighters were told everyone in the building had been evacuated. The fire was under control at approximately 8:30 p.m., though not completely extinguished.
