Needs public’s assistance to get some answers

The Alpena News

Referring to the front page article on Saturday, Feb. 2, in which 37 dogs and six miniature horses were removed from Jennifer Ellen Tucker-Richard's home in Hillman, Montmorency County Sheriffs removed these animals because the living conditions were poor and unsanitary. I am writing to inform the community of this because my four loving adopted children were living in these poor unsanitary conditions for over a year. Jennifer and I are divorced. Yes, my four loving adopted children were living in these poor conditions; 37 dogs and six miniature horses were removed but my four loving adopted children were left behind to live in these poor conditions. I am asking the community to help me understand why 40-plus animals were removed because of poor living conditions and my loving adopted children were left behind. Shame on Tom and Sue Tucker, Jennifer's mom and dad that have lived with Jennifer for over a year and allowed this animal abuse and neglect to take place and not do something about it. I have not heard from CPS/DHS Supervisor John Keller and Maelyn Wiedbrauk, CPS/DHS worker since it happened to let me become a legal parent of these four children, to let me know how the kids are doing. Shame on our CPS/DHS system.
