Alyssa Zbytowski and Travis Bruski exchanged their wedding vows Aug. 25, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Father Gerald Okoli officiated the 1 p.m. double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Rich and Kathy Zbytowski of Alpena. The groom is the son of Randy and Vicki Bruski, also of Alpena.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Erika Zbytowski. Bridesmaids were Aubrey Scott, cousin of the bride; Tori Zbytowski, sister-in-law of the bride; and Angela Krajniak and Ana Galloway, friends of the bride. Serving as flower girl was Makeda Zbytowski, niece of the bride.
Attending the groom as best man was his friend, Jonathan Kamyszek. Groomsmen were Trent Bruski, brother of the groom; Aaron Zbytowski, brother of the bride; Brad Skiba, cousin of the groom; and Andrew Smigelski, friend of the groom. Serving as ring bearers were Elijah Zbytowski and Aiden Zbytowski, nephews of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception honoring the newlyweds was held at St. Anne's Parish Center.
Alyssa is a 2007 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2011 graduate of the Medical Assistance Program at Alpena Community College. She is currently employed by Medical Management Solutions and Staffing. Travis is a 2005 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2008 graduate of the ACC Concrete Technology Program. He is employed by Soil and Materials Engineers in Bay City.
The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in the Dominican Republic. They are residing in Auburn.
