Sarah Elizabeth Burton and Brian Philip Jones were married Oct. 14, 2012 at The Glen Club in Glenview, Ill., with the Rev. Jim Renberg officiating. A reception followed at the same location in the Chicago suburb.
The bride, a speech language pathologist, graduated from Alpena High School in 2002. She then completed her education at Central Michigan University, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Disorders and a Master of Arts Degree in Speech Language Pathology. She is the daughter of Thomas and Marilyn Burton of Alpena.
The groom, a software engineering manager, graduated from Geneva High School in 1997 in Geneva, Ill. He received Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Marquette University and is employed by Motorola, a division of Google, Inc. He is the son of Philip Jones of Poway, Calif., and Lynne Jones of Huntley, Ill.
Attending the bride and groom were Ashleigh and Jason Schultz of Freeland, and Amy and Adam Seghi of North Aurora, Ill. Makenzie Schultz, Alivia Schultz, Lauren Schultz and Addison Seghi completed the wedding party as flower girls.
Family and friends from around the country joined the celebration. The couple resides in Chicago.
