Christine Shorkey and Tony Van Dyn Hoven, both of Bullhead City, Ariz., announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Robert and Patricia Shorkey of Rogers City. The future groom is the son of Joseph and Beth Van Dyn Hoven of Kaukauna, Wis.
Christine is a graduate of Rogers City High School and a graduate of Northern Michigan University with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. She is also a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. Christine is currently employed by Desert Valley Elementary School as a kindergarten teacher.

Tony is a graduate of Kaukauna High School and a graduate of Northeast Wisconsin Technical College with an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice. He is employed by Bullhead Police Department as a police officer.
The couple will exchange their wedding vows June 8, 2013, at Saint Joseph Parish in Appleton, Wis.
