Shame on those who stole from hunting blind

November 16, 2012
The Alpena News

On July 3 of this year I lost my father to cancer. An avid hunter, needless to say Fall was his favorite time of the year. Last weekend, my brothers, along with my nephews and son's went to the hunting camp to get ready for the upcoming firearms deer season. My eldest brother decided he would hunt in my dad's seat. Imagine their shock when they got to the site where my dad always sat and his seat, ladder, and all his hunting equipment had been stolen. To whomever stole his property, if you needed it to put food on the table for your family, you are forgiven. If you deliberately stole it just because you thought that was the right thing to do, my hope is you not only do not get a deer, but the you do not even see one. Shame on you. My father would have given anyone the shirt off of his back, to think that someone can be so disrespectful makes me sick. What is wrong with people? What a sad world we live in.
