Bill and Marlene Kaschner of 4199 Hazel, Lincoln, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 29 with a party at Lost Lake Woods Club House. Children, grandchildren, family and friends and the entire wedding party were present to celebrate 50 years of marriage.
The couple's children are Alan and Kim Kaschner of Alpena, and Renee and Jim Kelly, also of Alpena. Grandchildren are Lauren and Karl Larsen of Sault Ste. Marie and Shawn Kaschner of Alpena.
Mr. Kaschner and the former Marlene Schultz were married Sept. 29, 1962 at Salem Lutheran Church in Hubbard Lake with Pastor Marvin Hileman officiating the ceremony.
