Spaghetti dinner serves as major ALL fundraiser

November 1, 2012
The Alpena News

The Association of Lifelong Learners will hold a seventh annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser with celebrity chefs Olin and Pat Joynton presiding over the kitchen. Dinner is a sit-down affair with ALL board members and their spouses waiting on tables.

The dinner takes place Nov. 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. in ACC's BTC Commons (109), by the Lumberjack Shack and ACC Bookstore. As in dinners past, there will also be a Chinese Auction with a variety of items offered.

Fundraiser chairperson Don Speer said, "Next Tuesday, Nov. 6 is your opportunity to exercise your civic duty and vote and then attend the Association of Lifelong Learners spaghetti dinner. We would appreciate seeing all of you and your friends and we guarantee you'll have a great time."

Alpena Community College President Olin Joynton and his wife, Pat, will prepare the spaghetti for the upcoming dinner hosted by Association of Lifelong Learners as a major fundraiser for the organization.

This is ALL's major fundraiser and a good turnout assures the Lifelong Learners can continue the mission of presenting events of interest to the community. The dinner includes spaghetti, garden salad, homemade bread, beverage and make-your-own ice cream sundae for $7. Students are $5.

For more information call the ALL office at 358-7207 or Speer at 595-2383.
