Chelsea Mae Nowak and Ryan Michael Noack exchanged their wedding vows Aug. 4, 2012 at the home of the bride's grandparents, Harold and Bonnie Boven. Pastor James Erickson officiated the 2 p.m. double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Kathy Nowak of Alpena. The groom is the son of Mike and Nellie Noack of Hamilton, Ontario.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her friend, Kelly Fielder. Bridesmaids were friends Katrina Dunker and Karyn Tomasic, and sister of the groom, Krista Noack. Attending the groom as best man was his brother, Joel Noack. Groomsmen were friends James Richardson and Ben Roy, and brother of the bride, Adam Nowak.

Following the ceremony, a reception honoring the newlyweds was held at Immanuel Lutheran School gymnasium. A second reception was held Aug. 11, 2012 in Hamilton, Ontario.

Chelsea is graduating from Concordia University in Ann Arbor this spring with a degree in elementary education. She hopes to continue her education with a Master's Degree in Special Education. Ryan graduated in May 2012 from Concordia University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. He is employed with a landscaping company in Ann Arbor.

The newlyweds are residing at Concordia University.
