Worried about the future of our country

September 28, 2012
The Alpena News

For the first time in my life I am afraid for my country, for my children, and my grandchildren. The source of my fear is American leadership at the national level and the tragedy we face if we continue following this President's chosen path. In my lifetime, I have never been nor have I desired to be a politician. I have never aspired to forcing people to my perceived knowledge or opinion and forcing them to drink from that well. I have tried to ask others to consider what they think they know about a subject and to seek out different sources of opinion to establish a comparison base to their currently held beliefs. Prior to our national election in November, please consider examining views which will never be presented by our nation's east or west coast press. Try reading one or more books which are listed below and decide through honest comparison which chosen path offers you and your family the greatest chance for a continued America. "The Amateur" by Edward Klein, "The Great Destroyer: Barack Obama's War on the Republic" by David Limbaugh, or "Obama's America: Unmaking the American Dream" by Dinesh D'Souza. As a bare minimum, at least find your way to and read what the books have to say. If you would like to discover what you really believe and for whom you should probably vote, seek out No matter what you believe after your readings, at least for now, you are still in control of your destiny.
