PUROL, Peter J., Sr., 71, of 2444 Purol Lane, Lachine died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Ursula; three children, Rosemarie Gross of Tennessee, Peter Jr. (JoLee) of Sterling Heights, and Ellie (Bobby) Carr of Ohio; three grandsons, Kaden, Peter, and Dustin; and a niece and nephew.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 18 at Bannan Funeral Home in Alpena from 2-8 p.m. Full military honors will be accorded him by VFW Post 2496 at 6 p.m. and the Knights of Columbus will hold a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will contine on Wednesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Hillman from 9 a.m. until the funeral mass at 10 a.m. with Rev. Rolando Silva officiating.
