Amanda Nicole Mitchell and Shaun Terry Biggs exchanged their wedding vows Sept. 17, 2011, in an intimate lake-side ceremony at Lost Lake Woods Club in Lincoln. Rev. Richard Karsen officiated the 3 p.m. double-ring ceremony before 100 of their closest friends and family.

The bride was brought to the ceremony on a double horse-drawn wagon along with her father and maid of honor. The bride's attendants, the mothers of the bride and groom, as well as grandparents, also were brought to the ceremony by horse-drawn wagon.

The bride is the daughter of Julie Mitchell of Harrisville and Brent Mitchell of Freesoil, Mich. Her grandparents are Henry and Gwen Bruske of Ossineke, Marvin and Janice Paulson of Spruce, and the late Martin Mitchell. The groom is the son of Linda Webber of Prescott Valley, Ariz., and the late Terrence Biggs.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Charisse Mitchell. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Kaitting, cousin of the bride; Sherri Florez, sister of the groom; Tina Stewart, friend of the bride; and Carly Mitchell, cousin of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Jaclyn Kaitting, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was 'Ava Mitchell, niece of the bride.

Attending the groom as best man was Ron Belfius. Groomsmen were Al Torry and Jeremy Barnett, friends of the groom; Scott Biggs, brother of the groom; and Nathan Mitchell, brother of the bride. Junior groomsman was Chance Florez, nephew of the groom. Ring bearer was Braxton Mitchell, nephew of the bride. Ushers were Cole Mitchell, cousin of the bride; Matt James, friend of the bride and groom; John Kaitting, cousin of the bride; and John Florez, brother-in-law of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a cocktail hour and reception honoring the newlyweds were held indoors at Lost Lake Woods Club Auditorium. The evening included celebrations led by the BrodberG Band. Pre-nuptial parties included a rehearsal dinner at The Backwoods Bistro in Lincoln.

Mr. and Mrs. Biggs are currently making their home in Big Rapids.
