It is unfortunate that so few of our citizens vote; and, worse that so many are uninformed when they do vote. I refer to some recent "Letters to the Editor" that reveal ignorance of facts. One such letter said we don't need voter photo ID because we don't have any real voter fraud, no voter intimidation by the New Black Panthers, and no Michigan State voter laws. Wow. How uninformed can one be?
1) ACORN and others have been charged with fraudulent voter applications in 13 states with some indicted and jailed.
2) The New Black Panthers' evidence of voter intimidation was played on TV and the internet.
3) Michigan state does have voter laws.
Another writer questions the sources of my comments as "according to Tea Party and Fox News" which reveals that the writer knows nothing about either and then falsely quotes the Republican National Lawyers Association. This organization did not make that quote. It was done by a blogger to their site. He then quotes the ultra-liberal Brennan Center for Justice as a reliable source.
I suggest everyone read the book "Injustice" by J. Christian Adams (a former Justice Department attorney) and to view the documentary "Agenda" by Curtis Bowers and the movie "2016 Obama's America" before they vote. I would hope that after reviewing these sources, they would consider their misinformed and preconceived opinions. I hope they don't follow the old saying "Don't confuse me with the facts. I've already made up my mind."
People should know that all attendees at the Democrat Convention must present a photo ID in order to enter the stadium. I guess that will keep all the "minorities" and "poor people" from going to the convention since Democrats don't agree with photo ID to vote.
