The second game also featured stellar serving from Overton and Milligan. After 18 serves, Alpena was comfortably in the lead 13-5.

Alpena followed up this lead with a five point scoring run by Genschaw. This moved the game up to 18-5 putting the game comfortably in their hands.

Cheboygan did make a noble comeback, including solid serving from Corrie Bongard and Abby Ackerman. Unfortunately for Cheboygan it wasn't enough as they ended up losing 25-11.

The third game was a much harder fought match by Cheboygan. Julia Sturvist started the game with a four point serving streak. Alpena's game also became a little sloppier during the third game with lots of dropped balls and timing errors.

After 34 hard fought volleys, Cheboygan was up 18-16. Another 11 volleys followed with Cheboygan up 22-23. However, a three point scoring streak by Meyers gave Alpena the match.

Alpena went on to beat Posen in three games, 25-21, 25-17 and 25-10. They won two against Rogers City, 25-25, 25-23 but lost the third 21-25.

Posen lost the first and third games to Rogers City 17-25 and 14-25 respectively. However, they won the second game 25-23.

Posen lost to Cheboygan all three games, 9-25, 23-25 and 14-25.

Rogers City lost their first and third games against Cheboygan, 25-21 and 25-16 respectively and won the second game 25-19.

Alpena plays again on Monday while Rogers City plays Saturday and Posen on Tuesday.
