I recently spent a week as a patient at Alpena Regional Medical Center (ARMC) undergoing surgery and treatment for a shattered ankle.
I am writing this letter to publicly commend the doctors, nurses, and staff at ARMC. A difficult situation was made bearable for me by the professionalism of ARMC's health care professionals.
My stay and rehab at ARMC was outstanding starting with my surgeon, my family doctor, my hematologist, the anesthesiologists, the phlebotomists, and the many nurses and rehabilitation specialists whom tended to my every need (I can't believe how many times I pushed that buzzer). Even the food was good.
