Eugene and Joan Lemster celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on Aug. 24.
The couple are the parents of Terry (Alicia) Lemster of Bakersfield, Calif. A daughter, Lori Lemster, is deceased. They also have four grandchildren: Heidi Hanson of Alpena, Holli Hanson of Clair, and Brett Lemster and Garrett Lemster of Bakersfield, Calif.
Eugene and the former Joan Johnson were married Aug. 24, 1957 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Alpena. Eugene is a retired truck driver and Joan is a homemaker.
