Samantha Shafer and Bradley Zampich exchanged their wedding vows June 16, 2012 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Colorado Springs, Colo. Rev. Robert Jagger officiated the 2 p.m. double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Terri and Arlen Brown of Colorado Springs. The groom is the son of Dale and Marietta Zampich of Alpena.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was her twin sister, Shelby Shafer. Bridesmaids were Laura Biersach, her best friend from college; Rachel Clarkson, her best friend from high school; Celina Provencio, Juliana Provencio and Carrie Rollman, cousins of the bride; Danisha Sandoval, her best friend from middle school; and Tara Downs, her best friend from adulthood.
Attending the groom as best man was his best friend, Jordan Romel. Groomsmen were Alex Howison, his friend from high school; Jared Shafer, brother of the bride; Brett Hurlbutt and Marcus Ridley, college friends of the groom; Jamie Hosmer and Justin Kaspar, friends of the groom; and Nathan Johnson, his former bandmate. The ring bearer was Dominic Camacho, cousin of the bride. Ushers were Tharin Wilk and Cameron Wilk, cousins of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at The Pinery in Black Forest, Colo. Guests traveled from Michigan, Arizona, Virginia, Texas, Minnesota, Ohio, California, Illinois and New Jersey. A rehearsal dinner took place at The Doubletree World Arena in Colorado Springs.
Samantha is a 2006 graduate of Salpointe Catholic High School in Tucson, Ariz., and a 2010 graduate of McNally-Smith College of Music in St. Paul, Minn., with a Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Performance. She is employed by Flowers Remembered and Mackenzie's Chophouse.
Bradley is a 2004 graduate of Alpena High School and attended Alpena Community College and McNally-Smith College of Music in St. Paul. He is employed at Cost Plus World Market.
The couple spent several days in Las Vegas after their wedding and will be taking a Caribbean cruise at a later date. They are residing Colorado Springs.
