Our country is going through a fiscal crisis. We have too much debt, too much spending and too much waste. We need to elect conservatives who are willing to tackle this crisis head on by voting to eliminate wasteful spending. On Aug. 7, I will be casting my ballot for Pete Hoekstra for U.S. Senate. He has been a leader in the fight to reign in wasteful spending. Congressman Hoekstra was chosen by Newt Gingrich to help craft the Contract with America and has been a leader in promoting fiscal sanity in Washington. He even slept on his office couch in D.C. to remind himself that he lived in Michigan, not Washington, D.C.
Our country cannot afford six more years of the wasteful spending that Debbie Stabenow has been promoting. We need a conservative leader like Pete Hoekstra to help hold Washington accountable. Please join me in voting for Pete Hoekstra on Aug. 7.
