Our economy has been hurting for years now, and unfortunately Sen. Debbie Stabenow has done nothing to help this state recover. She allowed the national debt to grow to a staggering $15 trillion and passed the Budget Control Act instead of an adjusting, yearly budget - all under her watch. In fact it has been over three years since a budget was passed. Just recently, she passed another tax hike on small businesses.
I don't want to re-elect someone who doesn't acknowledge our economic struggle. Instead, I will vote for former Congressman Pete Hoekstra. While serving on the Budget Committee, Pete created a financial roadmap that reduced spending, cut taxes and led the nation to solid economic growth. He is also a firm believer in a tax system that is more fair and will effectively help businesses grow.
The time is now to elect a Senator who understands business. Join me and vote for Pete Hoekstra on Aug 7 to get our economy back on track.
