Sara B. Lyon and Wade R. Owen of Fort Wayne, Ind. were united in marriage Aug. 6, 2011 at Ceruti's Courtyard in Fort Wayne. Dr. Derek Weber officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Butch and Jo Lyon of Alpena. The groom is the son of Richard and Renee Owen of Albion, Ind.
Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at Ceruti's Diamond Room. The couple spent their honeymoon on a Western Caribbean cruise.

Sara is a 2001 graduate of Alpena High School, a 2003 graduate of Alpena Community College, and a 2005 graduate of Central Michigan University with a Bachelor's Degree in Integrative Public Relations. She is employed as a marketing communications coordinator at PHD, Inc. in Fort Wayne.
Wade is a 2004 graduate of Central Noble High School and a 2009 graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. He is employed as a software engineer at General Dynamics in Fort Wayne.
