Dale and Crystal Sumerix were surprised to find some 80 friends and family had gathered on June 23 at the Alpena Cycle Club to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary.
Dale and the former Crystal Standen were married June 27, 1987 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Alpena. The couple has three children: Jessica (Matt) Cohoon, Joel Sumerix and Jeremy Sumerix. They make their home in Lachine.
