As the current pastor of this Alpena Catholic community, I find myself being questioned about the closing of and selling off of parishes. I understand why such questions would be directed to me. After all, along with being the current pastor, I have also been the regional vicar, working closely with the Bishop. Unfortunately, I can't really help with these questions. I can't say that a plan has been shared with me. I would suggest directing your questions to Mark Hunter. Judging by his blog, it appears that he has plenty of inside information.
