BOYD, Wendell Glen, 77, of 259 N. Garden Street, Alpena, died Sunday, July 15, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; four children, Donna (Steven) Wiesner of Florida, Wendell Jr. (Cecile) of California, Kenneth (Jennifer) of Monroe, Glenn (fiancee Shelly Wilke) of Alpena; 10 grandchildren, Kimberly, Christopher, Ashley, Rachael, Michael, Brian, Matthew, Benjamin, Heidi, Taylor; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Pauline Phelps of Battle Creek.
Family and friends may call at the Bannan Funeral Home on Monday from 2-8 p.m. with full military honors accorded him at 6 p.m. by VFW Alpena Post 2496. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. James Erickson officiating.
Interment: Evergreen Cemetery
