Lyle and Lily Van Wormer of 4665 Kirchoff Rd., Alpena, recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Van Wormer and the former Lily J. McEachern were married June 3, 1972 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Alpena.
The couple's children are Kyle and Lisa Van Wormer of Alpena, and Brian Van Wormer of Alpena. They also have one grandchild, Amy Van Wormer.
