WETZEL, William E., 78, of Pinckney died Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Arbor Hospice.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Wetzel of Pinckney; sons, David (Kathy) of Grass Lake, Doug (Pam) of Dexter, and Daryl (Toni) of Pinckney; brother, Norman Wetzel (Sally) of Chelsea; eight grandchildren, Jacia, Joseph, Jacob, Emily, Janet, Jillian, Alexa, and Austin; four great-grandchildren; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Louis (Clara) Donajkowski, Leonard (Mary) Donajkowski, David (Maxine) Donajkowski, Ray (Michelle) Donajkowski, Butch (Mary) Brandenburg, and Georgianna Donajkowski; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, Chelsea from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2012, with a Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at 10 a.m. with Rev. William F. Wegher and Rev. Fr. Charlie Donajkowski concelebrating at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 10601 Dexter-Pinckney Road, Pinckney. Private burial will take place at a later date at Bethlehem Cemetery, Ann Arbor.
