The Rogers City softball team had three players selected to the Michigan High School Athletic Association all-state list after the selections were announced earlier this week.
Outfielder Nikkie LaLonde, third baseman Logan Fleming and pitcher Melissa Pomranke made the Division 4 all-state list after the Hurons made it to the regional finals.
Onaway second baseman Megan Estep, Posen shortstop Anna Couture and Hillman outfielder Rachael Mayes also made the Division 4 list.
Two Division 4 players who will play at Alpena Community College next season, Arenac Eastern pitcher Alex Chmura and Rapid River shortstop Ashleigh Monticello were named all-state. Monticello was one of four Rapid River players to be honored along with pitcher Heather Sanderson, second baseman Averi Kanyuh and first baseman Neena Brockway.
Alpena first baseman Brenna Bourdage earned an all-state honorable mention in Division 1 and Onaway and Posen had two selections each on the Division 4 honorable mention list. Catcher Sam Brasseur and pitcher Emily Estep were selected for the Cardinals and pitcher Ashley Meyers and utility player Emily Delekta were chosen for the Vikings.
Swartz Creek pitcher Carah Pletscher, who pitched the Dragons to a regional title win over Alpena made the honorable mention list for Division 1 and two other players, shortstop Hayley Cruthers and first baseman Gabby Deering, were selected all-state.
