From the Rockies to Alpena, the Association of Lifelong Learners will host a cycling adventures photo review by presenters Vince and Mary Call on June 25 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in ACC's Room CTR116.
Well known local cyclists, the Calls return from a seven-month Colorado cycling adventure to share experiences gained in a second Ride the Rockies adventure. They will present photographs of cycling from the Blue Ridge Parkway through Arcadia, Maine; the olive grove and grape vineyard areas of Tuscany, Italy and most recently, America's beautiful Colorado Rockies.
Viewers will also share in peninsula rides out of Traverse City, the roller coaster hills surrounding Pellston, Good Hart and Bliss and the scenic Tunnel of Trees ride out of Harbor Spring, plus beautiful local bicycling.
The Calls have been bicycling since 1982 when they formed the Different Spokes Cycle Club in Alpena which later became Thunder Bay Trails Association.
They have resided in Alpena since 1976 and now spend winters in the Frasier Valley of Colorado at Snow Mountain Ranch.
The program is open to the public. There is no charge. For more information, call 358-7207.
