It's too bad that Wendy Wessel feels that the progressive honor roll given to students who have raised their letter grades is a "ridiculous honor," her words not mine, June 11, 2012, letter to editor.
Those students need the accolades of family and friends and school administrators because they are trying to do better. I applaud them all, freshmen to seniors, keep up the good work.
