CHAVIS, Janice Florence, died Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Sally's AFC.
She is survived by her son, James (Debbie) of Jacksonville, Fla.; several nieces and nephew; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will take place at First Congregational Church, 201 S. Second Avenue, Alpena, Rev. Richard Hotchkin officiating. Visitation will be at the church Friday, June 15, from 5-8 p.m., and Saturday, June 16, from 10 a.m. until memorial service at 11 a.m. Inurnment at First Congregational Church Memorial Garden. The family was assisted by Frank R. Hunter Funeral Home.
