It is not very often that you come across someone who truly makes a difference in the lives of others. Laura Dubey, an Alpena High School teacher, is one of those people. With her dedication and kindheartedness, she is able to understand her students and their feelings. She instills confidence in her students and gives them the encouragement that they need to succeed.
Her generosity and her fighting spirit to help students overcome their struggles make her an incredible person and teacher. As an AHS parent, I cannot express my appreciation and gratitude enough for Mrs. Dubey and everything she does.
