Hansen/Wisniewski

Kristen Hansen and Alexander Wisniewski exchanged their wedding vows Dec. 31, 2011 at the Community of Christ Church in Lachine. Rev. Jack Conklin of Scottville United Methodist Church officiated the 4:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Dan and Jane Hansen of Lachine. The groom is the son of Bryan Wisniewski of Alpena and Pattie and Jack Conklin of Scottville.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her friend, Morgan Lind. Bridesmaids were Krystal Ratliff, Vanessa Oliver, friends of the bride and Janna Wisniewski, sister of the groom. Flower girl was niece of the bride, Abigail Dziesinski. Serving as hostesses were Tiffany Bates and Clorissa Sumerix, cousins of the bride.

Attending the groom as best man was his brother, Ben Wisniewski. Groomsmen were Joel Wood, Matt Ouellette and Gerald Schulze, friends of the groom. Ring bearers were Ryan and Nicholas Fetters and Matthew Dziesinski, nephews of the bride. Serving as usher was Alex Howison, friend of the groom.

Pianist for the ceremony was sister of the bride, Laura Dziesinski. Sister of the bride, Sarah Fetters, provided ceremony readings.

Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at Hillman Community Center.

The bride is a graduate of Grand Valley State University, with a degree in psychology. She is employed by Holy Cross Children's Services as a foster care and supervised independent living worker. The groom is a graduate of Grand Valley State University with a degree in photography. He is employed by Alpena Community College as a photography instructor.

The couple honeymooned at Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and are residing in Alpena.
