With near perfect weather conditions and the best track and field athletes in Northeast Michigan competing, Tuesday's Alpena Honor Roll Invitational proved to be a record setting day.

In fact 10 new marks were set during the meet which took place at Alcona High School.

And at the end of all the records set there were Alpena's Ashton Dever and Emily McAnsh, who were named the Male and Female Athletes of the Meet, combining for eight first place finishes, including six in individual events.
