LINCOLN-The Alpena JV baseball team picked up two wins against Alcona on Wednesday, beating the Tigers 5-1 and 13-0 (five innings).
Andy Marwede and Chris Modrzynski combined for the win in the first game, allowing one hit and fanning 15 for Alpena (16-6).
Reed Hamp was 2-for-3 at the plate.
Cody Tucker and Caleb Myers combined for the win in the nightcap, allowing just one hit with nine strikeouts.
Myers was 2-for-2 and Marwede was 2-for-4.
Alpena will host Cadillac today at 3 p.m.
