The Alcona girls basketball team made the 2011-12 Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan's (BCAM) top shooters list.
The Tigers finished ninth as a team for three-point field goals. Alcona shot 45-for-134 for the year, finishing with a 33.5 shooting percentage from beyond the arc.
Four area schools also received honorable mentions on BCAM's Academic All-State for 2011-12 for team GPA.
Onaway (3.64) and Posen (3.36) made the Class D list, Alcona (3.17) made the Class C list, and Alpena (3.53) made the Class A list.
