EAST LANSING - Alcona sophomore Karina Cole was crowned the champion of the BCAM 3-point Challenge on Saturday at the Breslin Center in East Lansing. Cole tied or won each level of the three-point contest, including the two person shootout that took place during half time of the Class C championship game. She made 13 out of 25 in one minute to take the win.
Cole also was in the free throw competition - the only female to qualify for both competitions. A short clip of Cole winning the 3-point contest was shown during the third quarter of the Class C game on Fox Sports Detroit.
