Monica Minnick and Adam Dziesinski, both from Alpena, announce their engagement.

The bride to be is daughter of Roy and Martha Minnick of Herron. The future groom is the son of William and Phyllis Dziesinski of Alpena.

Monica is 2004 graduate of Alpena High School, a 2007 graduate of Baker College with an Associate's Degree and a 2008 graduate from Sienna Heights with a Bachelor's Degree in Radiology and a minor in Health Care Administration. She is currently enrolled at Central Michigan University, where she will graduate in 2013 from the Physician Assistant program.

Adam is a 2003 graduate of AHS and a 2005 graduate of the Concrete Technology Program at Alpena Community College. He is currently employed at Lafarge North America Alpena Plant as a quality control lab technician.

The couple will exchange their wedding vows Aug. 11, 2012 at St. Anne Church in Alpena.
