Jim and Diane Bromund celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on Feb. 6. They were married in San Diego, Calif. and relocated to Alpena in 1988.
They are the parents of three children: Heather, Kelly and Derek.
Jim is employed by Lafarge Corp. and Diane works for the AMA-ESD. Even though their children have graduated and moved on, they continue to be very active in athletics in and around the Alpena area. Diane sits on the board of the Alpena Sports Hall of Fame and Jim is very involved with the Alpena High School girl's softball team.
