Mr. and Mrs. Otto Donakowski of Alpena are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Kay Meske and Otto Donakowski were married Jan. 13, 1962 at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
They have four children: Sandra (Bob) Gritzmaker of Clayton, Mark of Ypsilanti, Todd (Cassie) of Comstock Park and Kurt (Pam) of Grand Rapids. The couple also has three grandchildren: Matthew Marine, Elle Donakowski and Andrew Donakowski.
Otto retired from Huron Portland Cement Co. and Kay retired from Alpena General Hospital.
