Meghan Michelle O'Brien and Daniel Christopher Marsh exchanged their wedding vows Oct. 23 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Alpena. Bruce Michaud officiated the 2 p.m. double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Patrick and Sherrie O'Brien of Lachine. The groom is the son of Julie and Robert Hoppe of Alpena, and Chris and Cindy Marsh of Nicholson Hill Road.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Kelsey O'Brien. Bridesmaids were Tiffany Vanier and Sarah Nowakowski, friends of the bride; Chelsea Marsh, sister of the groom; and Kristen Marsh, sister-in-law. Attending the groom as best man was his brother, Sean Marsh. Groomsmen were Ron Koch, Bill McQuarrie and Bill Wilds, friends of the groom; and David Veasy, cousin of the groom. Ushers were John O'Brien, Mike O'Brien and Jacob O'Brien, cousins of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at St. Anne's Parish Hall. A rehearsal dinner took place at JJ's.
Meghan is a 2000 graduate of Alpena High School and 2007 graduate of Ferris State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. She is attending the University of Nebraska for a Master's in Social Work and is employed by Child Saving Institute as an independent social specialist.
Daniel is a 2003 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2007 graduate of Ferris State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Automotive and Heavy Equipment Management. He is employed by Chrysler Corp. as an area manager. They reside in Omaha, Neb.
