Cristie Ann Neubert and Daniel Gary VanMassenhove exchanged their wedding vows Nov. 12, 2011 at Word of Life Baptist Church in Alpena. Pastor Scott Joy officiated the 1 p.m. double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mary Ann Neubert of Alpena and the late Gregory Neubert. The groom is the son of Gary and Sally VanMassenhove of Alpena.
Attending the bride as matron of honor was her friend, Kathleen Steil. Bridesmaids were Melissa Pettit, friend of the bride; Rachel Neubert, sister-in-law of the bride; Erin Richard and Anna Richard, cousins of the bride; and Kristy VanMassenhove, sister of the groom.
Attending the groom as best man was his friend, Blain Scheller. Groomsmen were Brian Mischloney, Eric MacKenzie, Scott Gagnon and Adam Montroy, friends of the groom; and Michael Neubert, brother of the bride. Ushers were Nic Bartell, friend of the bride, and Jacob Neumann, Eric Kruczynski and Boone Tanner, friends of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at The Events Complex.
Cristie is a 2009 graduate of Thomas M. Cooley Law School with a Juris Doctor degree. She is currently pursuing an advanced LLM degree in Corporate Law and Finance. Cristie is an attorney at Kane, Funk & Poch, P.C. practicing in family law, estate planning, bankruptcy and corporate/commercial transactions.
Dan is a 2005 graduate of Lake Superior State University with a bachelor's degree in Engineering Management, and a degree in Manufacturing Engineering. He is employed with Decorative Panels International as a Quality/Process Control Engineer & Environmental Lab Superintendent.
The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. They are making their home in Alpena.
